During the first lockdown of the COVID-19 pandemic, in May 2020, Rob Murray and I embarked on a journey to raise the spirits of frontline workers by producing cartoons that pictured the treasured moments people were most looking forward to once normality returned. We called it Bottle Moments.
It was a huge success. The impact on people was astonishing. One frontline worker was so taken by it that they even had the illustration turned into a tattoo!

Now, in our third lockdown installment, we’re bringing Bottle Moments back. And, with a clever title to boot. We’re calling it Bottle Moments 2.
This time, we want to give children of all ages something to look forward to. At a time when children are missing friends, school and outdoor experience, we want to provide something that gives them positivity and hope that there’s light at the end of the tunnel. All is explained by yours truly in my interview on Good Morning Britain, below.
Harness your children’s natural creativity and get involved in Bottle Moments. Visit www.bottlemoments.com, download one of our templates and encourage your children to illustrate whatever it is they’re looking forward to. Then share your pictures on social media using the hashtag #bottlemoments.
At the end of it all, our favourite 20 will be whittled down to 10 by GMB host, Ben Shephard and those will be redrawn by cartoonist Rob Murray and printed onto keepsake mugs for the winners.
We can’t wait to see what the little minds come up with!
